Private house party fundraiser for Northampton Neighbors

Private house party fundraiser for Northampton Neighbors in a beautiful downtown condo will be inspiring. Northampton Neighbors helps seniors stay in their homes by sharing resources. The O-Tones will play for a fundraiser for this wonderful non-profit. The band loves playing house parties. And the group enjoys supporting  fundraisers for good causes! Mary Witt (vocals & bass),  John Caban ( lead guitar/vocals), and Ben Kohn (piano/vocals) will play Jazz, Swing, Blues, and Soul at this special event.

Northampton Neighbors:

“We are a community of neighbors helping each other with our daily tasks. All members of Northampton Neighbors are welcome at events, gatherings and Interest Groups, but to receive services you must be 55+ and live in Northampton, Florence or Leeds.
NN offers practical assistance, service referrals, as well as social, cultural and educational activities. Our members enjoy a wide and growing variety of services and care, enabling them to remain in their homes and continue to enjoy their network of friends and activities
At the heart of our mission are the people of all ages who volunteer to help our members continue to lead rich and engaging lives. Many members enjoy the experience so much that they decide to offer services in return.
Free membership ensures that there are no economic barriers preventing Northampton seniors from receiving services or participating programs and events. We depend on our members’ generosity, the support of our local business community and grant making institutions. Amherst Arts Night Plus music

Amherst Arts Night Plus music, sponsored by Amherst Public Art Commission will be held all over downtown Amherst. Mostly acoustic music will be featured at various locations including, but not limited to Emily Dickinson museum, Gallery A3, the Visitors Center, the Historical Society, the Jones library, Greenfield Savings Bank, and the Unitarian Universalist church.

Ann Percival (vocals & rhythm guitar), Mary Witt (vocals & bass), and John Mason (vocals & lead guitar) join their soulful vocals on Swing and Motown grooves for hot fun in the summertime. Iconica Social Club with Annie Patterson and Bob Ferrier, gorgeous vocalist and guitarist joins Mary Witt, singer and bass player. Annie and Mary love singing together, trading jazz scats and licks, blues verses, funky backup vocals and more. Annie Patterson, with many years in Girls from Mars (a swing band from Philadelphia) as well as author of Rise Up and Sing singalong songbook, performs with soul and passion. They will perform a mix of Jazz, Swing, Blues, Folk and more. And special guest music wizard Bob Ferrier will join again on guitar!

Iconica Social Club is the cute little brick building in the parking lot off Masonic Street. They serve up great food and drinks with a wonderful listening room.

New England Wedding Band The O-Tones love playing for a couple’s special day! This NH wedding couple sought out The O-Tones because they love to dance. The O-Tones love to play for weddings because the music they love is perfect for ceremony, cocktails, dinner and/or dancing. With a mix of Swing/Jazz, Blues, Soul, Motown, Latin and Oldies, their music appeals to all ages.

This 5-piece version of The O-Tones will provide piano music for the ceremony, then all the other styles they play for dinner and dancing. Their grooves and melodies appeal to all ages, helping everyone to remember this special day with the music performed.

Dance – The O-Tones @ Hawks & Reed Greenfield! The O-Tones love playing for dancing, even on a Thursday night! Hawks and Reed Performing Arts Center has a wonderful wooden dance floor as well as tables and bar for watching the dancers. The musicians will have 3 part harmonies with Ann Percival, Mary Witt, and John Caban. Come hear soulful sax solos (Kerry Blount), sizzling guitar licks (John Caban), and jazzy piano (Charles Vadala). Styles range from Swing to Blues to Soul to Latin to Motown. No partner necessary, all styles of dancing encouraged.

The O-Tones at Progression Brewery Northampton, music with good food and beer! This new local brewery is a hit in the community with its tasty menu, great beer, and friendly atmosphere. A fun place to hang out with friends and listen to music surrounded by art. The old Don Gleason’s camping store turned into a cool, new restaurant. The O-Tones trio will feature Mary Witt’s soulful vocals and groovin’ bass along with John Caban’s sizzling blues and soul solos and Ben Kohn’s jazzy and funky piano playing.

The O-Tones at Historic Northampton summer show! Historic Northampton has invited The O-Tones to perform for their outdoor music series, with a rain location backup, of course. Music from the gazebo with the audience on the summer lawn, music will entertain the listeners with Swing, Soul, Latin, and Motown. Band members will show you a great time for summertime, with Annie Patterson, Mary Witt, and John Caban on vocals and guitar and bass with Kerry Blount on sax, Ben Kohn on piano, and Doug Plavin on drums.
