Wild & Precious Arts Festival Easthampton is happening on Memorial Day weekend! A festival for everyone highlighting the artistic works of women over 50 on May 27 & 28, 2022 in Easthampton, MA.
Organizers of the Wild & Precious Arts Festival are teaming up with CitySpace to produce a festival for everyone, highlighting the artistic works of women over 50 on May 27 & 28, 2022.
The Wild & Precious Arts Festival presents two joyous days of creative explorations and celebrations in venues across Easthampton. Poets responding to an art exhibit, singer-songwriters and gospel singers expressing through song, septuagenarians and octogenarians performing cabaret, and a live dance band inviting all to get down: these are but a few of the lively events that festival-goers from across western Massachusetts will experience in Easthampton’s unique locales such as Old Town Hall, Marigold Theater, Luthier’s Co-op,Galaxy, and Nini’s Ristorante.
WHY WOMEN OVER 50?
Many women artists, performers, and writers come into their own after they turn 50. Their artistic expression is emboldened by their lived-experiences.Embracing the courageous and vulnerable, this unique festival shines a light on these artists’ achievements and celebrates their creative expression, inviting all to enjoy.
• Opening reception Friday evening: 4-6 pm featuring many visual artists including Mary Witt Painter of The O-Tones
• Saturday afternoon 2 – 3 pm Giving Voice gospel trio of Mary Witt, Ellen Cogen and Evelyn Harris (formerly of Sweet Honey in the Rock) perform Gospel and Spirituals in Easthampton Congregational Church
• Saturday night, Dance Band 7:30 – 10:30 pm. Several women from The O-Tones will be playing in the Dance Band on Saturday night at Marigold Theater on Cottage Street!

Paradise City Arts Festival music, food & crafts are an annual treat in Northampton! The O-Tones love playing this show, on stage overlooking the delicious restaurant offerings. Come take a break from the crafts for some good food and drink while listening to some Swing, Blues, Soul, and Motown. From Ella Fitzgerald to Marvin Gaye, they offer up some great tunes and beautiful harmonies.
