The O-Tones Big Band

In July of 2012, The O-Tones added 8 horn players and upright bass to the group as a Big Band.

The O-Tones became one of the Live Big Bands in New England. We played for an annual free outdoor concert, which the Benny Goodman orchestra started in 1943 at the Springfield, MA Armory. It was recorded live that day, and is now available, a great mix of Swing, Big Band, Blues, and Motown.

Over their lifespan, various singers and instrumentalists have lent their talents to the band’s fun and professional Swing, Motown, Blues, and Soul sound. The basic group is a 6-piece band with three singers, sax, guitar, piano, bass, and drums, but this talented group performs regularly in many forms, ranging from duo to the full 6-piece for weddings, parties, dances, fundraisers, and other events inMA, CT, NH, VT, RI, NY, and beyond.  The 14-piece Big Band is one of the New England Live Wedding Bands available for your event!
